Common, Nile Rodgers, Robin Thicke Set for ‘Legacy of Hope’ Concert

*Common, Robin Thicke, and Chic and Nile Rodgers are among the performers set to support the Legacy of Hope Foundation at a streamed concert and worldwide media event to be held July 15 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Legacy of Hope is a nonprofit organization working to support the building of the Nelson Mandela’s Children’s Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. The foundation aims to raise funds via micro-donations for what is only the 5th dedicated children’s hospital on the entire continent, which is home to 450 million children.

Also slated to appear are Grammy-winning violinist Miri Ben-Ari and South African musician Jonathan Butler.

Tickets go on sale Monday, June 29 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Barclays Center website.
