Prosecutors Reviewing Bobbi Kristina Case with More Urgency

*Prosecutors in the Atlanta suburb of Roswell are taking an increased interest in Bobbi Kristina Brown’s case – now that she has been moved into hospice care.

Should Bobbi Kristina die, the case would be investigated as a possible murder, with her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, as a person of interest.

Police say they’ve turned over their investigative file on the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown to the district attorney, who will determine whether any charges will be filed.

The 22-year-old was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Roswell home Jan. 31.

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said Thursday in a statement to The Associated Press that his office will be “reviewing the case with greater interest” in light of new circumstances regarding her health.

In a statement Wednesday, BK’s aunt Pat Houston said that her condition has worsened, and that the families have been told that nothing more can be done, prompting the decision to move her into hospice care.

Howard said an announcement on charges, if any, would be made at “the appropriate time.”

As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina’s conservator Bedelia Hargrove filed a lawsuit accusing BK’s boyfriend Nick Gordon of physical abuse and stealing money from her bank account.
