*As we already reported, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta“ is shaking up the cast again, with Claudia Jordan reportedly being given the axe. Jordan will not return to the Bravo reality series as a full-time Housewife for the upcoming eighth season.
However, there’s still a chance she may make some appearances, like Porsha Williams, who was demoted to a “friend of the Housewives” role last season. Claudia joined the show in replacement of two-time cast regular Porsha. A show source told E! Online that “it’s still too early to tell” if Jordan will take a supporting role on the show.
Claudia joined the show in season seven and clashed with star NeNe Leakes throughout the season, but a source told E! Online the decision to cut Jordan had nothing to do with her drama with NeNe, contrary to the other reports.
Her brief time on the popular Bravo show has certainly been entertaining. Claudia is the only cast member to successful shade NeNe and live to laugh about it with Andy Cohen. We will miss her as a series regular.
Claudia has yet to set the record straight and seems unphased by the rumors. On Monday, she tweeted: “No matter what the facts are some people are going to believe what they want to & there is nothing you can do about it-so just ride it out!”
Perhaps she’s still trying to negotiate her contract?
Other casting changes are still up in the air. Production on RHOA season 8 is slated to begin soon.
Jordan also posted a few pics of her working events over the weekend, including the one below captioned with a RHOA comment.
