*He was no Riley Curry, but Kanye West was also allowed to just come in and do whatever he wanted in the NBA’s post-game press room.
Perhaps still believing he was the NBA player that he pretended to be at his elaborate birthday experience in Los Angeles this week, the rapper left his seats in Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena a bit early during Thursday’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals (once the game was clearly in Golden State’s hands) and sauntered into the media room as it was being set up for the real players’ post-game Q&A.
Kanye took a seat behind the mic that Steph Curry and LeBron James would later face and, again, pretended to be a real player.
“I’m extremely exhausted, you know, by the floor,” he said, pretending to answer a question. “This next game we gotta go harder,” he added, as one member of his entourage jokingly said to another “That’s Riley!”
