Naomi’s Back for ‘Empire’; Taraji P.’s Critics’ Choice TV Award Nomination

naomi-campbell*Naomi Campbell is making a return to “Empire.”

Chatting with “Inside Edition” on Monday (May 4), the former supermodel avoided the topic when asked if she would come back for the show’s second season. Campbell’s presence on “Empire” was felt while playing Camilla Marks, the girlfriend of Hakeem Lyon.

“I don’t know, Lee are you bringing me back?” Campbell asked “Empire” co-creator Lee Daniels, accompanied Campbell to the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art gala.

“Of course I am,” adding, “I said you were!” Daniels answered.

As Campbell and Daniels enjoy letting the cat out the bag about her return to “Empire,” Taraji P. Henson gets officially recognized for her scene stealing work on the popular show.

Taraji-P-HensonFilm-News.co.uk reports the 44-year old entertainer has been nominated for a 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Award for best actress in a drama series. Competing against Henson will be star Eva Green “Penny Dreadful” and Julianna Margulies for “The Good Wife” as well as Vera Farmiga for “Bates Motel” and Viola Davis for “How to Get Away With Murder.”

Although Henson scored a nomination, she was the only “Empire” cast member to receive a nod, while the show itself got nominated for best drama series.

The 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Award is set to take place on May 31 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and will air live at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on A&E .
