*Political analyst and Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson on Sunday, May 3 announced that the Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable presented Maryland State Attorney Marilyn Mosby with its Civic Achievement Award.

The award is given to honor her for her exemplary action in prosecuting the six Baltimore police officers accused of abuse in the death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore.

“Given the deadly seriousness of police violence and misconduct as a national issue of deep concern, Ms. Mosby, sent a strong message with her courageous action that law enforcement officers are not above the law,” says Hutchinson, “And that they must and will be held fully accountable for abuse and misconduct.”

Hutchinson further notes, “The award is also given to her to serve as inspiration and encouragement to other citizens to responsible, proactive engagement and involvement in reporting on, disclosing, and challenging alleged wrongdoing, misconduct and citizen abuse by police, public officials and employees.”

  1. She certainly deserves the award, because she definitely saved Baltimore city.

I know what I’m talking about, because I’m from there, and the black people in Baltimore and Washington, DC are NOT afraid of white people at all.

Had Attorney Mosby NOT taken the action to indict those officers, and they stayed with the silly notion that “Freddie killed himself,” I assure you, Baltimore would be in ashes today.

Baltimore is NOT Sanford, Florida, and it is NOT Ferguson, MO. The black folks in Baltimore would have torched the crowning jewels of Baltimore (the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards) and any other properties outside of the so-called hood that they deemed fit.

It would not have exclusively been burning businesses in the black community like LA and other cities have in the past. Nope, not in Baltimore…

And before any of you troll creeps start posting craziness that I condone rioting, I do not.

I’m simply telling you that I know my people in Baltimore and Washington, DC, and I think Ms. Mosby’s brilliant intervention avoided the explosion that would have taken place had those idiots tried to stay with the false narrative that “Freddie killed himself.”
