Apparently there’s no limit to what record labels will pay to obtain talent. According to TMZ.com, members of the rock band Unlocking the Truth have secured a huge deal with Sony after performing at Coachella last year.

Under the new deal, the band, comprised of two vocalists aged 12 and 13 and a 13-year-old guitarist,  receive the following advances:

— $60,000 for the first album
— $325,000 for the second
— $400,000 for the third
— $450K for the fourth
— $550K for the fifth

Formed when the founding members were just 10 and 11, Unlocking the Truth became the youngest group ever to perform on the main stage at Coachella. Soon after wowing that crowd, they were booked on Amateur Night at the Apollo.

Not bad for a group of kids whose influences include Metallica, Slipknot and Disturbed. Rock on young men. Rock on.
