*Prince has recorded a song about the social unrest in Baltimore, and in true Prince fashion, it’s shrouded in mystery…because plans for its release were not announced.

His camp said in a statement: “Prince has just recorded a new song that addresses the unrest in Baltimore and the socio/political issues around the country in the wake of a slew of killings of young black men. The song is a tribute to all of the people of the city of Baltimore.”

According to Billboard, the song was recorded this week at Paisley Park and the following artwork for the song was revealed:

  1. I’m amazed that he had to write a new song because there’s so many socially conscience material in his collection however,I’m a devoted fan and look forward to hearing whatever he has to say in a song. Melody Truth
