*At a recent NBC press day in Los Angeles, Nick Cannon was front and center to talk about the upcoming 10th season of “America’s Got Talent,” but of course was grilled about other things that have kept him in the headlines of late – like the reported tell-all book about his marriage to Mariah Carey.

“I’m so disappointed in the media,” he told E! “It’s funny, even to see people that I know and respect kind of report rumors and just ridiculous stuff that comes from nowhere. You could have just called me and asked me. I guess it’s like people go for the story and sensationalism instead of figuring out the truth. And when there is no drama, people want to create drama. Like I said, if you guys want to continue to perpetuate negativity, do that. But I’m good and happy and so is my family. I don’t know anything about no tell-all books or anything like that.”

As for that Easter pic his ex-wife Mariah Carey put on Instagram showing the two of them with their twins Moroccan and Monroe on a family egg hunt, Cannon said he has “no drama” with his ex.

Happy Easter!!! #ontheegghunt #NYiswild

“It was amazing, man. That’s what people do, they spend time with their families,” he said. “It’s a beautiful thing. That’s what holidays are all about is spending time with family and your loved ones. So it was a good time.”

And about Jessica White…

Nick has been photographed with the 30-year-old model on several occasions in recent weeks, and now E! News has confirmed that they are indeed dating. The lovebirds are “going really strong.”

Oh yeah… “America’s Got Talent.”

Season 10 will premiere on May 26 at 8 p.m. with Cannon returning as host, and Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel back at the judges’ table.

Auditions began March 2–9 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, then continued at the Manhattan Center in New York City and the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. A special “extreme” audition session took place outside at the Fairplex in Pomona, California where danger acts performed outside for the judges to an outdoor stage.

J.Lo’s ex Cris Judd gets a promotion from behind-the-scenes choreographer to the show’s “dance scout,” and Dunkin Donuts replaces Snapple as the show’s official sponsor.

Additionally, the “golden buzzer” will be used more like the one on “Britain’s Got Talent,” with its use sending the contestant directly to the live shows.

Below, Nick admits he couldn’t stand Howard Stern when the radio jock first joined the show:

The first Season 10 trailer was introduced this month as well.
