*It seems there is a death to report due to violence in the African American community every day. This one has put a Clayton County mother behind bars.
Latoya Tilson, 33, has been accused of shooting her son. Now, according to police, she faces several charges.
The shooting took place on Saturday night in College Park, GA. The young man’s father, Wayne Jones,  told Channel 2’s Richard Elliot, that his son, Pierre Tilson, passed away at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
According to Jones, the shooting was an accident. He believes that Pierre was protecting his 13-year-old sister from another boy when the situation spiraled out of control.
