*The 30th Annual Stellar Awards garnered 1.1 million viewers from its combined premiere and encore, making it TV One’s third most watched show after “The 46th NAACP Awards” and “Unsung Hollywood: Redd Foxx,” according to TV by the Numbers.
The show is considered “Gospel music’s biggest night,” recognizing outstanding achievement by artists in gospel and inspirational music.
One of the broadcast’s biggest highlights was Michelle Williams‘ performance, which featured Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé. Don Jackson executive produced while Barbara Wilson produced the show.
*In other entertainment news, Usher had surgery over the weekend, but before he did, he posted on Instagram to his fans, according to Sister 2 Sister.
“Wish me well….space of improvement ???? #footdown #6milliondollarman ????” the R&B singer posted.
He posted videos beforehand and a series of #roadtorecovery videos after the surgery. If anything it allowed him to rest his dancing feet.
