Hannibal Buress to Host The Webby Awards in May

*Fresh from roasting Justin Bieber, comedian Hannibal Buress is set to host the 19th annual Webby Awards at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street May 18.

The ceremony celebrating Internet culture can be viewed on demand at WebbyAwards.com the morning of May 19.

“The Internet is a huge fan of Hannibal’s — he isn’t someone who just gets Internet culture — he is literally helping to shape it every day,” David-Michel Davies, executive director of The Webby Awards, said in a statement Tuesday. “We are excited to have him bring his funny and brilliant corner of the Web to life at this year’s show.”

Nominees will be announced on April 7.
