Kanye West and Damon Dash Reunite For Business Takeover

*Years after siding with Jay Z after the rap mogul split with fellow Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash, Kanye West has reunited with his original mentor.

According to TheGrio.com, West and Dash have aligned to announce their purchase of Karmaloop; a streetwear e-commerce site that recently filed for bankruptcy protection.

The acquisition isn’t the only thing West and Dash have lined up. In a series of Instagram videos released last week, Dash dropped hints of what’s coming:

“So, you know, we just about to do some new sh*t. Just stick together culturally. Take over the world. Create a whole new industry. You know what I mean? And just play the game fair,” he said. “Honorable people stick together. So, this is how the generations do. Now he’s super-famous. And we linking up. And we decided to go buy Karmaloop. We just talked about it. And it’s gonna happen. And a couple of other cool things. We ain’t doing no music unless that’s for fun.”

In addition to future business ventures, Dash admitted to his desire to “put Complex out of business.”

“I’m gonna put Complex out of business for f-cking with me,” he said. “I don’t like them. It’s a war between me and them. We’re going to do that. Me and Kanye are going to snatch that up real quick.”
