*“Empire” may be on hiatus, but Cookie Lyon will likely make an appearance on NBC next month when Taraji P. Henson hosts “Saturday Night Live.”
The actress, who plays the matriarch on the hit Fox series, will host “SNL” on April 11, with Mumford & Sons as the musical guest.
Her TV son Jussie Smollett posted his approval on Instagram: “You deserve all of this so much.”
“SNL” has already done an “Empire” skit (below). What will they cook up with the real Cookie on set?
