Aspire TV Presents Discussion of Creative Process Behind Bradd Marquis’ ‘Free’ in NYC

GuitarCenterBradd

The value of artistry in music videos has diminished over the last few years, as everyone with a cell phone or digital camera is now a director and YouTube the preferred medium to showcase their work. For singer Bradd Marquis and director Azzie Scott, their collaborative effort on Marquis’ latest single “Free”, was an endeavor in cinematic artistry, with astounding results.

On Thursday March 26th, the two will anchor a panel alongside writer M Island, color correction artist Erick Alvarado and make-up artists Judith and Tiarra Vazquez. The discussion will be moderated by Aaron Camper, the multi-talented singer/songwriter and will take place at the Guitar Center in Union Square (NYC) at 6:00 pm.

Join the conversation as the panelists discuss the process of creating the video, as well as the metaphorical imagery used to convey the song’s message and technical strategies used to enhance the quality of the visual.

The event is free, but the information is invaluable for those looking to break into the industry on either side of the camera.
