*Patti LaBelle is back on TV in a big way.

She started off the week Foxtrotting on ABC’s season 20 premiere of “Dancing With the Stars,” and will follow that up tonight with a guest appearance on the two-hour season finale of “Empire.”

The 70-year-old powerhouse will play herself in Hour 2 of the two-parter – titled “Who I Am” – and she’ll sing a song to (and with) Jussie Smollett’s Jamal, encouraging him to fight for his father’s throne at the head of Empire.

“It’s a song called, ‘Nothing to Lose,’ and it’s really saying to [Jamal], ‘What do you have to lose? Go and get your Empire. It’s your turn to shine,’” says LaBelle. “It’s a wonderful song. I love the song and he really can sing.”

Below, Miss Patti tells us if she’ll be back next season, the role creator and friend Lee Daniels initially wanted her to play, and how her character’s death in “American Horror Story: Freak Show” factored in to her casting.

Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Hudson, Rita Ora, Juicy J will also guest star on tonight’s explosive, weave-pulling, somebody dying, two-hour season finale, from 8 to 10 p.m. on Fox.

Jussie also gave us a tease of what to expect tonight, saying Jamal and Lucious (Terrence Howard) “finally come together through song in a way that I feel like we’ve been waiting for the entire season.”
