*It will be a Taraji takeover on “Steve Harvey” this Wednesday.
The March 18th episode will feature “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson on the same day Fox airs her show’s two-part season finale. She’ll bring Steve an advance clip from the episode and spill as much tea as she’s allowed about what Cookie and ‘nem have in store.
“I’m just so sorry what we are going to do to you guys. It’s bad.” Henson tells the audience. “I will say this, somebody else gets to serve time. I’m just saying. One of the other Lyons. They messed up. That’s what happens. Ask Cookie, she knows. You break the law, you go to jail. That simple.”
Steve and Taraji go way back. They’ll reminisce about their careers, with Taraji telling viewers of her journey to become an Oscar-nominated actress. When it comes to her dating life, Taraji tells Steve Harvey that she’s very clear on what she does and does not want. “If you’re not serious, don’t even open your mouth. Shake my hand and keep it moving. I’ve accomplished so much in my life and right now, I just want someone to share it with,” she says.
Finally, two super fans will receive an “Empire”-themed makeover to look like Cookie and Lucious Lyon, and will be surprised when Steve introduces them to the person behind their new look … Taraji!
