*After Tony-nominated performances in Stick Fly and The Trip To Bountiful, Condola Rashad has taken her talents to feature films.

According to Deadline.com, she’s been cast in a pair of upcoming features. She’ll play George Clooney’s assistant in the Jodie Foster-directed thriller “Money Monster,” about a Jim Cramer-style TV stock jockey taken hostage on air by a man who loses his savings after following the star’s advice.

Rashad also will join Rachel Weisz, Michael Shannon, Kathy Bates, and Danny Glover in Joshua Marston’s untitled feature film about a woman introduced at a dinner party hosted by Shannon, who increasingly believes he knows the woman, but by a different name and a different biography.

Rashad, the daughter of Phylicia Rashad and Ahmad Rashad, recently wrapped the Showtime pilot “Billions” opposite Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis, and she’s been seen on CBS’ “The Good Wife,” NBC’s “Smash” and ABC’s “Georgetown,” as well as the Lifetime remake of “Steel Magnolias.” She’s repped by ICM Partners and Brookside Artist Management.
