*Former NBA player Earl Watson claims he shouldn’t have to pay for his estranged wife actress Jennifer Freeman because her acting career hasn’t taken off.
The former couple has a 5-year-old daughter together and are currently going through a nasty child support battle, according to TMZ.
Freeman wants more than the court-ordered $2,500 a month since, according to her, Watson has bank. But he claims he isn’t as rich as he was back in his NBA days.
He feels strongly about not supporting Freeman. In the court documents, he dissed her acting career and called her out for not having a good, sustainable role since “My Wife and Kids.”
“She has secured sporadic acting roles for which she has received nominal remuneration,” he said. “Her last paying job was in Nov. 2014 when she appeared on the Real Husbands of Hollywood.”
Nevertheless, Freeman claims her estrange husband owns ton of real estate worth millions. But a judge has yet to rule on this case.
