Jay Z is currently tied up in a legal battle with a 21-year-old man who claims the rap mogul is his father.

The National Enquirer says it has uncovered documents that show Shawn Corey Carter (Jay Z) was sued by 21-year-old Rymir Satterthwaite, an aspiring rapper, in 2014. Satterthwaite told a New Jersey court that his mother, Wanda, had an affair with Jay Z in the 1990s, and that HOVA has done everything in his power to cover it up.

Per Radar Online:

According to the tabloid, Satterthwaite, through his legal guardian – a paralegal name Lillie Colley – accused Blue Ivy’s dad of lying to the court to avoid taking a paternity test.

In 2010, a judge dismissed a similar case in which Satterthwaite’s mother tried to force Jay Z to submit the paternity test after another man turned out not to be the young man’s father. However, The Enquirer reports that the judge dismissed the case only because he ruled that his court lacked jurisdiction over Jay Z, and not because the court concluded that he was not Satterthwaite’s biological father.

The dismissal of the case paved the road for Coley, Satterthwaite’s guardian, to file the 2014 civil lawsuit.

In the papers, obtained by The Enquirer, Coley alleges that Jay Z and his lawyer, Lisa Fisher, provided “false” and “fraudulent” information to the judge, arguing that he lied to the court when claiming that he lived in New York and not in New Jersey, where he reportedly owns three houses.

The Enquirer also points out that Satterthwaite “has been struggling to pay college and medical bills, as he said on his website – all while dealing with the trauma of profound rejection.”

This will be the second case in which the rapper is accused of fathering a child outside of wedlock. In 2011, Jay Z reportedly paid model Shanelle Scott $1 million in return for keeping his name off of a birth certificate of a son that she claimed he fathered 13 years prior.

  1. Why are they putting this out now and still no DNA test? People with his background and now money would be accused weekly of these shenanigans, if they succumbed to every accusation. His business not ours and this was way before Beyoncé.

Why would not the mother put Carter as the last name of her baby on the BC?. Becuz she’s not 100% sure HOV is the daddy, that’s why… But Hov needs to prove whatever either way..

..not unless in NJ or NY.. the aledge daddy has to claim paturnity as sign as the daddy on the BC- even without a proven test? Becuz once you lay claim as the father and its documented,, in some states there’s no going back to change anything, even , if its proven he’s not the daddy later..

..any dude today whose not married .. doing drive byes.. and all of sudden she’s pregnant and he used his OWN protection effective, but, dude you ain’t the only one hittin it.. .. you’re a drive BYYYY… hit it and quit it..BYYY!

As my Grandmother would say… you ain’t married and the baby’s mother didn’t give the baby our family’s surname, so as far as we’re concerned as a family, until paturnity is proven? You ain’t family in that way, momma’s baby -daddy maybe!!!.. and that’s the way it should be IMPO,

..’these females have babies out of wedlock like changing panties daily.. and give the baby’s the maternal family’s surname? Doesn’t make sense.. basically, you’re telling the paternal family-.. your son was a sperm donor and nothing else but his the daddy?. Could be but highly unlikely… and the aledged baby doesn’t even carry his aledged daddy’s family surname name?.. But where is my money?..oop I meant child suppport?.. lol

My answer to thiis,, where is the statued of paturnity?.. is what I’d say..lol..
