*With Lil Wayne’s long awaited “Tha Carter V” album in limbo, the rapper is releasing yet another album to kill time.
He announced the news on Twitter early Thursday morning, Feb. 5: “Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album #FWA.”

“The Free Weezy Album” news comes weeks after the release of his mixtape, “Sorry 4 the Wait” (Jan. 20) and ahead of the rumored DJ Drama-hosted mixtape, “Dedication 6.”
The release of the “Tha Carter V” has been delayed due to Cash Money Records allegedly not paying Lil Wayne the money owed to him. Wayne is suing the label and co-founder Birdman for $51 million dollars.
