The show picked up its first SAG award this month for Viola Davis‘ portrayal as Professor Annalise Keating.

As previously reported, Davis made history, along with “Orange Is the New Black’s” Uzo Aduba at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, marking the first time two African American women won for best television actress in both the drama (“HTGAWM”) and comedy (“OITNB”) categories.

“I think Shonda Rhimes has created narratives that include us and that’s good,” Davis said about the series bringing diversity to TV. “I think that’s something that everyone should do.”
