The City of Inglewood celebrated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday, January 15, 2015. This was the City of Inglewood’s 32nd Annual Celebration. The day began with a commemorative program at Crozier Middle School. The celebration continued with a symbolic civil rights march to the parking lot of The Fabulous Forum.
The City of Inglewood King Day Celebration continued with the third and final segment of the day, King Day Fest. Thousands were in attendance for this family-friendly event that features vendors, interactive games, food and some top notch live entertainment.
CBS sports Anchor Jim Hill were present for the celebration and meet and greet. Radio Free KJLH 102.3FM, radio and entertainment sponsored provided a stellar line-up of artists to entertain the crowd. Mark Allen Felton, Reel Band, Chris “The Hammer” Smith, Mali Nicole, Lady Elle, Higher Groove, Ariella, Antonique Smith, Bobo Bosque, Darius McCrary and Johnny Gil provided the musical soundtrack for this magnificent celebration on a beautiful sunny afternoon.
