Snoop Dogg’s Son Cordell Puts Football Over Weed, Other Son Makes Him a Granddad

cordell broadus & snoop dogg*Snoop Dogg may actively indulge in smoking pot, but don’t expect his son to follow suit.

During an appearance on ESPN’s new documentary series “Snoop & Son: A Dad’s Dream,” Cordell Broadus admitted that he is weed-free. Instead, football ranks above pot for Cordell, who is one of the country’s top high school wide receivers.

“I don’t mess with that at all,” Cordell said … “If you’re an athlete, you shouldn’t cheat your body.”

So does Snoop have a problem with his son not lighting up?

Apparently not as the rapper goes the extra mile to make sure Cordell doesn’t make weed a habit.

“I don’t want him no where near it,” said Snoop.

From the looks of it, Snoop has the right idea. And with good reason, in light of the fact that his other son Corde has made him a grandfather.

Media sources report that Corde, who is Snoop’s oldest son, welcomed his first child, Zion this week.

A proud Snoop Dogg posted his reaction on Instagram, saying,

“Zion. You have a lot of love waiting on you grandson!! Proud grandad. Jah bless.”
