*Nicki Minaj‘s ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels is using up his 15 minutes of fame post-breakup. Her former hype man opened up to Power 105’s “The Breakfast Club.

But Samuels revealed he was much more than her hype man, he said he was Minaj’s everything. And all things concerning her went through him too.

“Decisions weren’t made without me… that was my soul mate. That wasn’t just somebody I was working with,” Safaree said of his high school sweetheart.

They were in a hip-hop group together called the Hood Stars. Although the group didn’t work out, he went along for the ride when Minaj became a star.

“We were friends for like a year and a half, then the relationship started,” he said.

He said he walked away from her — blasting her for trying to pull him down.

“I could be out here telling a million stories,” he said. “I walked away… I’m the one who packed my stuff and I left, you understand.”

He added, “it just got to the point where the respect was gone. It got to the point where I’m your man… I’m who you go to sleep with every night… I’m who you wake up with every morning. It got to the point where I was being treated like an employee instead of, like, her man.”

He doesn’t know why Minaj never claimed him publicly, but he was hurt when she sided with comedian Lil Duval, who called him a “corny” rapper.

“When you try to pull me down and discredit what I’ve done for you, that’s what’s weak to me.” he said.

He revealed he introduced her to Meek Mill who she’s allegedly dating now.

“If that’s who she decides to move on with, it is what it is.”

Samuels said he never disrespected her the way she disrespected him, but he claimed she doesn’t even write her own rhymes.

“Everybody gets help, and there’s nothing wrong with getting help,” he said.

He claimed he wasn’t riding off her success.

“Everything, all my cars, is in my name,” he said. “Fame and money… you can’t put a price on peace of mind.”
