‘Sorority Sisters’ Star April McRae Issues Inspirational Instagram Response to AKA Suspension?

April-McRae-And-Joy-Hammond*It may not be a direct response, but April McRae seems to have something on her mind, judging by a couple of messages she posted on Instagram.

According to reports, the following comments could be seen as a response to McRae and fellow “Sorority Sisters” cast mate/soror Rwanda [Joy] Hammond being suspended by the sorority they claim on the show, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Check out McRae’s Instagram messages:

Under the suspension, another AKA member told MadameNoire.com that McRae and Hammond no longer have privileges as members and are basically considered inactive. Notice of their suspension, which was posted on the AKA’s corporate website, was late posted via Twitter by various folks, including former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams and Roland Martin, a well-known Alpha.

Roland Martin tweet on April Mcrae Joy Hammond AKA supspensionMadame Noire goes on to report that McRae and Hammond were suspended the day after Christmas. According to the site, the suspension is set to last until July 2016.

As it stands now, neither McRae or Hammond have responded directly to the suspension.
