Three New Women Accuse Bill Cosby of Sexual Assault

*Three new women have come forward with sexual allegations against Bill Cosby, joining a list of women who claim that they were drugged and assaulted by the legendary comedian.

Per People.com:

The first to speak at a Los Angeles press conference called by attorney Gloria Allred on Wednesday was Linda Kirkpatrick, who was 25 at the time of the alleged incident. She was matched up against Cosby in a tennis tournament. He offered her and her partner tickets to his show, provided they beat him in the match.

They did. But Kirkpatrick’s partner couldn’t attend, so she went to the Las Vegas Hilton alone. When she arrived, she was invited to Cosby’s dressing room.

He “handed me a tall, thin champagne type of glass with a clear liquid in it,” Kirkpatrick said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE. “I drank several sips… It wasn’t champagne and it tasted terrible.”

Her memory gets fuzzy after she consumed the drink. Kirkpatrick did attend the show, but remembers little of it.

She continued: “My next recollection was being back in the dressing room alone with Cosby. I was lying down. Cosby was on top of me kissing me forcefully. I had no interest in sex of any kind.”

The next day, he offered to make it up to her. He invited her back to his dressing room where he allegedly once again tried to kiss her. Kirkpatrick pushed him away and left.

“For more than 30 years, I’ve been sickened by what he did to me,” she said. “Mr. Bill Cosby needs to be held accountable for his actions.”

The next woman to come forward on Wednesday goes by the name Lynn Neal and was in her mid 20s and a therapist at “a nice health club” when the incident occurred.

Neal was emotional as she spoke about also attending Cosby’s Hilton show. She too was offered a glass of champagne in Cosby’s dressing room but she didn’t drink it.

Later that night, he allegedly took her out to dinner and bought her a drink. “By the time we walked back to his dressing room, I was having problems walking,” Neal said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

“When we entered the dressing room I sat on the ouch and he started taking my pants down … I felt helpless and I couldn’t stop him.”

“He betrayed my trust,” she concluded, “and took advantage of me.”

The last woman goes simply by the name Kacey. In the early ’90s, she worked for the William Morris Agency, where she served as an assistant to Tom Illius, Cosby’s personal appearance agent.

“While Mr. Cosby and I had a cordial professional relationship, over time he began to take a more personal interest in me and often inquired about my life,” she said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE.

Kacey was allegedly invited to Cosby’s house to read through a script with him. Part of one of the scenes in question involved a passionate kiss. She did not want to participate, but “he was insistent with him pressing his body against mine.”

Another day, she was invited to meet with Cosby for lunch at the Bel-Air Hotel.

“When I arrived he answered the door in his bathrobe and slippers,” she said. “Food and wine were brought in. Shortly thereafter he told me I needed to relax and offered me a large white pill.”

Kacey protested but felt intimidated so she ultimately swallowed it. “Next I remember waking up in a bed with Mr. Cosby naked beneath his open robe.”

She left William Morris shortly afterwards, so she never had to see Cosby again. “I wanted to take legal action at that time but I was fearful that if I did he would retaliate against me and my family,” she said, choking up.

Attorney Gloria Allred, who is spearheading the case against Cosby, said that she has heard from more women but declined to give a number.

“I commend these women,” she said in her own statement, adding, “and I can assure Mr. Cosby that while these alleged victims are not the first to speak out, they will also not be the last to do so, because women are now empowered and refuse to suffer in silence.”

The statute of limitations has expired in each woman’s case.

Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, did not immediately comment on these new allegations but has previously blasted the wave of new accusations against Cosby. “These brand new claims about alleged decades-old events are becoming increasingly ridiculous,” he said in a statement on Nov. 21.
