*The senior pastor of First African Methodist Episcopal Church (FAME) in Los Angeles is facing a civil lawsuit and allegations that he coerced a junior pastor into a sexual relationship with him.

Rev. Brenda Lamothe said she was fired from her position earlier this year after she refused to continue with Dr. John J. Hunter’s sexual demands. And she held a news conference Tuesday to talk about it.

According to reports, Lamonthe filed the lawsuit last week against Hunter. In the suite, Lamothe accused Hunter of coercing her into inappropriate sexual relations.

She said Hunter convinced her it was "God’s will" that she comply with demands for sex at the pastor’s church office and in hotels in Southern California, Virginia and North Carolina.

The news conference was held at Lamonthe’s attorney’s office in Encino.
