93.9 WKYS' EZ STREET TEAMS WITH RECORDING ARTISTS: They create Sean Taylor Tribute Song - 'Every Given Sunday.'

*This Sunday November 30, Washington Redskins player Sean Taylor will posthumously be inducted into the Redskins Ring of Honor.

In the meantime, EZ Street, 93.9 WKYS afternoon drive personality along with Grammy nominated artist Raheem Devaugh, Anwan Glover aka Big G of HBO's hit series The Wire and NBC's Law and Order and founding member of the Backyard Band, Miss Kim, lead female vocalist of Rare Essence, DC rap sensation Face have all come together to create the Sean Taylor tribute song and video, "Every Given Sunday."

Sean Taylor, who played free saftey for the Redskins, was murdered on November 27, 2007, at the age of 24, dying from critical injuries from gunshots by intruders at his Miami area home on November 26, 2007.

"The idea for doing this song is simple: To honor # 21 Sean Taylor, and to send a message to the community that we must never forget that there is still much work to do stop the violence in our community. Sean's tragic death acts as a reminder," says EZ Street.

"Every Given Sunday" was written by the R&B hit making songwriter Raheem Devaugh and produced by Jamil "Face" Johnson for Hipnotic Music Productions, who has worked with the likes of T-Pain, Raheem DeVaughn, Talib Kweli, Gangstarr. In addition Jamil "Face" Johnson has worked with Chuck Brown, Chucky Thompson, Bun B, Wale, Tabi Bonney, Lil Mo, and Mya. The Sean Taylor tribute song was recorded, mixed and mastered at Phase Recording & Media in White Plains, MD.

The song and video will be released simultaneously, live on the air, on the EZ Street Show today, Friday November 28, 2008 at 2:21pm.

The award winning Glightfilms production team will produce a music video featuring the artists mentioned above, former Washington Redskin and close friend of Sean Taylor, Lavar Arrington and Redskins fans from the entire Washington DC area.
