Dear Advice Chick,

*I am a young woman in my early thirties, and married. I am confused about my sexuality, I don't know if I am bi, bi-curious, gay or straight!  I felt I have always been interested in women, but as a teenager I became sexually attracted to men too.  My problem is I am very attracted to a female friend of mine and I have been trying to feel her out to see which way she leans for a while now but I am still confused.  Personally I think she is bi.  I told her about that I am interested in women but have never acted on my urges, I have never even kissed a woman.  But we still hang out together, she gets dressed in front of me, I believe that she prances in front of me on purpose to
see how I would react.  But I keep my feelings to myself about her.  I would like to tell her about my feelings but if I am wrong about her, I don't want to risk losing my friendship with her. Should I distance myself from her to avoid complicating my life because I love my husband and I don't want to leave him and I don't want to complicate her life either (she is married too).  Should I keep my feeling to myself and
hope they go away? Thanks

Advice Chick replies,

What makes you think she’s bi? You are bi-curious and attracted to your friend who may or may not be bi. You told her you’re interested in women and she didn’t say a damn thing, a.k.a. she’s probably not interested in getting down.

I won’t say suppress your feelings, but tread lightly if you’re thinking of expressing your interest in your friend. Hell, if you want me to, I’ll tell her your little secret. Hit me up if you want me to call her for ya!
