*TMZ.com is reporting that Isaiah Washington’s fight with Patrick Dempsey on the set of “Grey’s Anatomy” is just the latest of several on-set incidents involving the actor in recent years.

In 2000, Washington was starring as Miles Jenkins on an episode of Showtime’s “Soul Food” in Toronto when he reportedly got into a shouting match with Nicole Ari Parker, whose character Teri was Jenkins’ ex-wife.

According to TMZ, they were shooting a scene in which Washington was supposed to give her a superficial kiss. “We're told to the horror of everyone, Washington grabbed the woman and planted a ‘forceful, aggressive kiss,’” TMZ reports. “The actress became irate, which then infuriated Washington who began screaming at her.

“At that point the director stepped in to correct Washington, and the actor went off on him. Executive Producer Tracey Edmonds then took over and Washington went off on her.”

Another incident reportedly took place in 1997 when Washington was supposed to be a guest star on the TV show "High Incident." According to TMZ, his gig ended abruptly after he got into a physical altercation with a crew member. Police were reportedly called out to handle the situation.

TMZ has also uncovered details of what was said during Washington’s fight with Dempsey earlier this month. The Web site says:  “There are reports that Washington taunted Dempsey by saying, ‘I'm not your little faggot like [name redacted],’ referring to a fellow cast member.”

On Thursday, "Grey's" cast member T.R. Knight, who plays Dr. George O'Malley, reportedly came out of the closet because of Washington’s outburst and revealed to People magazine that he is gay.
