*Bobby Brown may have been AWOL from family court but he was front-and-center at a BET function in Beverly Hills Tuesday night to celebrate the “Shocktober” launch of its new season.

With a bench warrant hanging over his head, Brown showed up as if nothing was wrong and mingled with BET’s President of Entertainment Reginald Hudlin and other development execs.

So why was Brown at an event touting BET’s new season? EUR’s Lee Bailey asked if viewers can expect a second season of “Being Bobby Brown” on the network anytime soon. A rep for the network replied: “I can't confirm or deny at this time.....but it seems logical to me.”

Other stars on hand for the event included Tony Rock, Omarosa, Katt Williams, Eric Benet, Keisha Knight PulliamKel Mitchell and …yes…Bootz from VH1’s “Flavor of Love.”

In other news from BET, "Committed: The Christies," the new reality show following the lives of former NBA baller Doug Christie and his strong-willed wife Jackie premieres tonight.

As you may have heard, off the court, Jackie is the star – she is ever-present, controlling and clearly in charge.  Some would say Doug is “whipped.”  He says he’s just happily in love with his wife.  "Whateva," is what we say.

You can see the show that's been described as a "train wreck you can't take your eyes off" at 10 pm Eastern on BET J.

Doug and Jackie Christie premiere tonight at 10 pm Eastern on BET J
