CAREY, KEYS, UNION MAKE MAXIM’S ‘HOT 100’: Longoria, Alba top the list; Carey places 22nd.

*Following a stunning 2005 comeback, Mariah Carey now enjoys the distinction of outranking Alicia Keys, Gabrielle Union and Beyonce Knowles on Maxim Magazine’s newly-released Hot 100 list for 2006.

Carey placed 22nd on the tally, while Keys was the 40th hottest, Union ranked 43rd and Beyonce came in at No. 45. Others notables on the Hot 100 include Ciara (77), Halle Berry (79), Rev. Run’s daughter Venessa Simmons (82), Amerie (84) and Chilli of TLC (90).

“Desperate Housewives” vixen Eva Longoria and actress Jessica Alba placed first and second respectively, followed by Lindsay Lohan (No. 3), Angelina Jolie (No. 4), Stacy Keibler (No. 5), Scarlett Johansson (No. 6), Cameron Diaz (No. 7), Kate Bosworth (No. 8), Keira Knightley (No. 9) and Christina Milian (No. 10).

"After Eva nearly crashed our Web site when we blew up her cover in the desert, we realized we had no choice but to make her No. 1 again," said Maxim’s publisher Rob Gregory of Longoria, who also earned the top spot in 2005.
