Comment: If they'd just go there and act like "normal" people, maybe it wouldn't be a big deal. But what parent wants to spend part of what should be a fun day on vacation explaining why those 2 men are hugged up and feeling on each other or those 2 women are tongue-kissing?

Comment: It's one weekend out of the entire year. If you have a problem with it. Take your %*$ to Universal Studios, or Busch Gardens

Comment: I agree with Jazzfan. However, with 120,000 attending last year, it's money over morals. Disney is not going to publicly say they support gay days. It's like don't ask don't tell.

Comment: Unfortunately, Disney has always been "gay-friendly". They were one of the first to extend employee benefits to gay partners. This is evil, unnatural and un-Godly. Disney better watch out. After all, gay people are completely incapable of producing children.

Comment: BlackEye - your last sentence - you absolutely nailed it. However - gay folk spend dollars and Disney worships those dollars so for the time being don't expect Disney to entertain any kind of boycott!
Jazzfan let them tell it they are 'normal' and so is what they do!

Comment: ec615...uhhh, they might wanna stay the heck away from Universal too. True story: My husband and I'd gone there back in 2002. There was a show with some actors dressed up as popular tv and movie characters. Among the characters were The Ambiguously Gay Duo (their videos were on SNL)!! All durin' the show, they're doin' their...ambiguously gay act. The show ends, everybody's leaving, and we hear this little boy, about 9 or 10 y.o. ask his momma, "who are the gay superheros?" The mother said, "uhh, they're grown-up superheros." End of conversation. <> I'm kinda surprised that they're doin' this too, but I ain't mad at 'em. It's only one weekend, innit? Just don't go on that weekend. These folks SHOULD stay away if they disagree with it. They'd probably be complaining the whole time and ruining the fun for everybody else.

Comment: If Disney is not sponsoring the event, as the article states, then David Caton of the Floriday Family Assn doesn't have a point. It appears the gays chose Disney as their destination of choice, rather than Disney specifically inviting the gays. The only alternative would be for Disney to ask them not to come en masse to the theme park, which will not happen.
