Comment: Give the man a minute, I know he will definitely be inviting the staunch supporters. Stevie Wonder almost single handedly lobbied for Dr. King's birthday against all odds and even right after he had surgery on his head after that car accident. When Reagan finally had been brought draggin' and screamin' to sign the bill that would make Dr. King's birthday a holiday, that baztard said "We'll see." Basically saying we'll see how long this lasts and how it would come about. It was real snide and nasty like. I couldn't believe my ears!! Well, Reagan, you didn't live long enough to see the 44th Prez of the US being a Black man and Dr. King's holiday is in full effect. So, Stevie saw it come full circle. Humph, God is good.

Comment: cosign Teigh. What's the big friggen deal if they're not invitied? What's Barack supposed to do invite everyone who handed out a flier, knocked on a door or hosted a chicken and waffle fundraiser. Hell, most of the coutry would embark on D.C. Just look at it on C-Span like the rest of us. The mere hope that Obama can get this country on the right track is thanks enough for me.

Comment: Boot, I've said it before and I will say it again -- Recession or not -- I want to see and willing to PAY money to see the Jackson 5 perform again (WITH MICHAEL, of course). Even if they are lip singing !! I just want to relive the moment. I still have my souvenior ticket from the "Can You Feel It / Heartbreak Hotel " tour.

Comment: ooh now Frankie Beverly and Maze put on a great show, it is a must for me to see them every time they come into town. I really don't think these artists are going around stomping and pacing the floor. They make tons of money and are always performing. That's just a little hype from media.

Comment: I love me some Parliament, but the last few times I saw them I was disappointed. They are unpredictable and did some crazy stuff. They didn't sound good either. EWF would be perfect. I catch them every time they come to town and they sound great.
