Comment: This is a damned good look!! I miss Teddy, though. Teddy was a mofo back in the day! Brings a smile to my face thinking of all the intense fun we had.

Comment: You better believe it, Mothership. Teddy was the bomb back in the day! It's still hard to believe how an accident can change the entire course of your life. I still like Teddy's song, Joy.

Comment: Mothership, you are so right that Teddy Pendergrass was baaad back in the day. Right smack in the middle of the disco/funk/rock revolutions in 1979, Teddy dropped his "Teddy" album that started off with the slow jam classics "Come Go With Me" and "Turn Off The Lights." That was such a bold move and the third absolute R&B classic album in a row from him. He was such the man back then that you just bought the whole album, not the single, no questions asked, because you straight knew it was going to be just that good.

Comment: I commend Teddy Pendergrass for not giving up after the accident. Yes, he was on top of the world, and it's only through God's grace that He has been able to accept where he is now. Teddy is truly an inspiration to many. May God continue to Bless him and his mission.

Comment: Lovelace, God had to bring him down a peg, because he thought he was bigger than God during the time of the accident. That wasn't the first time he and the tree tangled. It happened once before, but he got away that trip. Teddy was an ordained minister and thought he got bigger than the Godforce during that time.
