Comment: Before I jump on the "I support Frenchie" bandwagon, can someone please clarify whether or not Frenchie actually posed topless for a child pornography site? Also, I think there is a difference between posing and being paid as a model versus having a "friend" leak your private, suggestive photos onto the internet. The last I've heard of this situation, it's up in the air whether it's Barba in the photo performing the BJ.

But as for the situation at hand, Barba should be kicked off if this is her but moreso, she needs to be kicked off because she has NO talent!! This year there are only about 5 people that honestly need to be competing and her tired azz is not one of them! As for Ms. Frenchie...she's moved on and is doing great things with her life. Although I was pizzed when she got kicked off years ago, I think the show was new and they were trying to figure out how to work things themselves and a "wholesome" family show is what they were promoting. Fast forward to today...from the articles it "appears" to be Barba so I don't know if there is a double standard yet. But I still go with my original thought...this chick needs to be kicked off because she possess NO singing talent whatsoever!

I'm not sure Frenchie's site was child porn but I do remember in one of her interviews she said she posed for soft porn. Comment: Barnone, last time I looked there were 7 contestants out of 12 who are black, so I don't know where you're getting that there's hardly any black finalists. Only 1 of the 5 girls is biracial and that's 17 year old Jordan. Sabrina is the other "questionable" one, but when you look at her mother you can see the resemblance. Stephanie is just "real light-skinned", but you definitely wouldn't mistake her for being anything else. If the show os about picking that portrays a "certain" image then the only one who would fit the bill is Carrie Underwood, and that white girl really can sing. As for the nudie pic scandal(or not), Frenchie's photos WERE child porn which is a little different, but I agree with the poster that commented on the show being new and still finding its way back then. Things do change, and even though Frenchie is talented, she was competing with Rueben, Clay, and Tonya(I think that was the tall black girl's name)that season. I don't think America would've voted for her over any of them. And that Antonella KNOW her azz shoula been gone. even though both girls were voted off deserved it, (they got the guys' votes wrong in my opinion), they shoulda had a SPECIAL vote for her and that Sanji or Sanjura or whatever the hell his azz name is, wit his cute sweet azz!LOL

Comment: The pictures I saw of Barba didn't strike me as that scandalous (sitting on a commode laughing [that picture looked as if a friend with a digital camera broke in on her and snapped the shot], sitting on a beach with several other girlfriends covering their naked breast with their hands, etc.). But if you are posed with your big ol bitties totally plopped out, that could be considered taking it up a notch from college high jinxs to soft/soft porn. Now a fellatio picture would of course be pornographic (I didn't come across such a pic), but I believe there's a great deal of dispute as to whether that is Barba.

Comment: Also, 7 (5 girls & 2 boys) of the original top 24 contestants were Black, which is roughly 30%. Now 7 of the 16 remaining contestants are Black, almost half, since none have been voted off. So say what you will about AI's differtn handling of the Frenchie & Antonella situations, but Blacks are doing pretty damn well this season so far.

If Christina Christian from season one I believe had similar pics to Antonella this season, she'd be treated exactly the same. I suspect this with Antonella and a theoretical Chrisina would have a different response in the first couple seasons, but 'Idol' have since realized they are immune from controversy and don't really mind things like this.
Also, EUR and Najee Ali are falsely suggesting the oral sex images are Antonella, and it has been proven and accepted by anyone doing a few minutes of research they aren't her. If this is the line at the protest, you may be opening yourself up to libel.
Finally, making this a race issue will only polarize and politicize a singing competition that will hurt the two current favorites, Melinda and Lakisha.
