Comment: The solution to the problems here are easy, actually enacting them as a collective is the difficult part. When we come together as one it either won't matter or won't be as prevalent - as we stand and as we present - we're a joke.

Comment: Could they next take on the music industry and movies with thier rampant disrespect of blacks? And, I'm speaking about the blacks in those industries as whites don't care how they spew that n-word about a whole race of people and the b-word about black women. The NAACP needs to call out all racists who send negative images about blacks, not just whites who will usually bow down, call out these self hating blacks as well, who are worse than any of these dumb white boys in black face.

Comment: When the perpetrators are finally identified, I'd like to know what the GPA is for each student. I'd like to know if they represent students who are committed to getting an education or if they are among the hundreds of student cretians that can be found roaming colleges campuses across the country, with no particular goal or ambition! Me thinks the latter is true!

Comment: So is it now that white people can't even say the words ghetto or 'hood or have a party with those words in it because black people don't like it? When is this madness going to end? people will always be offended, a sanitized world where all everyone worries about is not offending anyone is boring, but construing a skeleton at Halloween as a lynching is a bit much. I do not condone racism- white on black or the reverse or on any color- but I also do not think that you can be offended by every darm thing and turn it into something ugly.

Comment: YAWN. Unless some of us would open our mouths and stop other black people from doing "ghetto" behavior, we can't complain when people make fun of it / call us on it.
I'm tired of being black, personally. I'm the only one in my mentoring group (it's a bunch of white kids tutoring black kids and my lone black %*$. WHY CAN'T WE HELP OUR OWN KIDS? Black men only like white girls...and I could go on and on...) Lord, let me come back white next time.

Comment: >phillytay: Surely you don't really want to come back White, but I understand your frustration. It seems that other races help each other individually and collectively much more than we do, and the only thing we stick together to do is drag each other down. But just keep doing what you're doing, each one teach one, and we hopefully will start to see a difference, if not in this generation than in the next.
