Comment: Ok, I watch foodTV...I don't think Ray's gonna carry an hour...She's good in small doses and even then she can be too perky...Everything dosen't taste good and EVOO dosen't go on everything...He11, she'll drizzle it on a sweet potato pie and say "YUMMMM" O's golden touch won't work here...

Comment: Must have been a slow news day! Rachel Ray? I like her,even though she has this odd thing of saying her name 17.5 times during her show, as if she doesn't know it herself. But, she is not excatly "urban" news, she is more Oprah's suburban crowd news!

Comment: I love Rachel's 30 minute meal segments on the Food Network, and I have prepared many of her dishes in my kitchen, although, mine end up looking a mess when it's all over - Rachel's voice can get on your nerves sometimes, which is bad, cause I can't put the t.v. on mute, cause I need to hear her talking about the meal preparations!!

Comment: I'm a big fan of Oprah, the person, NOT the TV show and I hope ONE day she decides to help and produce another black person (besides Gayle) in the talk show arena. She can do what she wants to and she does, but I am so tired of her propelling white folks, who don't need the help, to stardom when her considerable media influence and might could be used in helping a deserving black person shine.

Comment: If you all didn't care about rachel why in the....neva mind. anyhoo rachel is my fav on foodtv but i'm not sure about her carrying her own talk show. Good luck to her. Oprah's good but she isn't God. Having her backing the show doesn't automatically equal success.

Comment: While I understand wanting to see her promote black talk show hosts, why shouldn't she make money off of white shows as well? It's Ok for white people/networks to make money off of "black" shows such as Girlfriend, but we can't do the same off of them???

Comment: i'm glad oprah is pimping white folks and makin' money off of 'em. but rachel ray (and all those food shows) aren't my cup of tea so i'll pass. anyway, i hope oprah does a show on her leadership academy for girls in south africa...now that matters.
