Comment: This news made my day and made me register! Mixed and the Broke Diaries are both on my top ten books list. Mixed is hilarious - the part about her curly hair getting caught up in the double dutch rope made me scream on a crowded train. The book also brings up interesting issues like how America has a very unique racial classification system. In Brazil, half of the people we call black here, would be white. Please support BLACK WRITERS. And yes, Angela Nissel is a black writer. She explains why she chooses to call herself Black (despite some black and white people's insistence that she's not "really black.") in the book. And cause her black mom (funny character - or whatever one is called when you're in a book) would cuss her out if she said she was Cablinasian. Okay, enough raves before y'all think I work for the girl. I'm just so glad to see something like this is coming on HBO instead of another "black people selling drugs show." Support Black writers!

Comment: The Eartha Kitt biopic may be a possible winner for Halle. The HBO series, could work, she does have a good track record with HBO, but from the limited info out on the storyline so far it sounds like Girlfriends with Tracey Ellis Ross.
