Comment: Somebody ask Whitney if Dave can share the re-hab couch with her.

Name: Luke_Cage
Comment: I don't know if Dave can add any more than he's already revealed about him leaving his show from Comedy Central, but its obvious he doesn't want to address the matter anymore. He has to realize though that sometimes saying I don't want to talk about it, is going to be challenged in some way. Especially from a hawk like Miss Jones. If he specifically asked them to steer clear of any questions regarding the Chappelle show and as we see they didn't comply, then good for him for hanging up. If it wasn't made clear to Hot 97, then say it one last time for the hearing impaired and try another round of questions.

Name: Priceless
Comment: Dave should have cuzzed Miss Jones out like Whitney cuzzed Wendy Williams out ... CTFU!

Name: TAZBABY
Comment: Exactly Price, He requested they don't ask him any of those questions, I would have hung up too.

Name: SilentJay
Comment: I've never listened to hot 97 because I live in Northern VA and I've never heard Miss Jones on the the radio but I don't think I like Miss Jones all that much. I've heard Dave Chapelle interviewd on the radio before and I hear people ask him questions like that one or try to make him talk about stuff he didn't want to talk about. It seems that some hot 97 DJs are more concerned with hyping themselves up to point where it hurts the radio station. like I said I havn't hear the radio show and just going on this article and some of the past craziness I've heard about that show.

Comment: I cosign Priceless. The man didn't commit a crime. He quit a job. People do it everyday. It's no big deal. They should just let it go.

Comment: good for him...sounds like some sheet I would have done....

Name: Gemami
Comment: I agree, Dave already address the issue numerous times, so it's a dead topic. I know radio personalities like Miss Jones are about sensationalism, but I'm glad Dave hung up on her.

Comment: i live in the bk ms. jones is just bitter because she is a singer now dj who cant get a record deal ask heav she was i believe on uptown records

Comment: Mrs. Jones I'm not sure if you know it, but YOU don't own HOT 97. I know that they give you lead way for a show that THEY (HOT 97) allowed you to have. But sweetie YOU don't call the shots.

Comment: His interview with Donnie Simpson on PGC 95 went much better. He talked a lil about what happened on Hot 97 too. ;)

Name: realuvbaby
Comment: Miss Jones may be a little bitter. She saw herself as the next MJB/Faith and could never get on for some reason. Could be her attitude. I ain't mad at Dave. He did the right thing. These DJs need these celebrities more than the celebrities need the DJs.

Comment: I guess I'm the only one on this board that doesn't give a dam about Dave. Dave is just plain old azz boring so let's move on.

Name: VickiE
Comment: I really could care less about Dave. Unfortunately, the mass media is like a dog with a bone. They just can't stop gnawing on a news story, even though it has no meat. I hate shows like that, be it print, TV or radio. If you can't respect the interviewee's wishes then refuse the interview. Miss Jones is representative of a number of people in the industry that have absolutely no ethics.
