Comment: YLawdY...The movies she did on BET weren't the trash you see now days. They were some years back when BET actually still had an ounce of good prgramming left. I think they called them Arabesque (sp) films. They had actors like, Wood harris, Gina Ravera, Kadeem Hardison, Vanessa Calloway, Allen Payne, and so many other good black actors. I think she played in a couple films. I know one for sure was with Kadeem. The movies were real good too. I think they are out on DVD now. Yes, BOOT...Saved By The Bell was garbage. I hated they could not even get one black dude to be her boyfriend. But they also, never had her w/a real boyfriend on the show either. I forgot she was on B&B. She left that show, because she refused to do love scenes and walk around in her draws and panties. Someone just reminded me that she is the god daughter of Reebie Jackson. I always thought regardless that she was a good actress.

Comment: shulamite- that's the name of that movie. i think that was one of my favorites they did. your right she is a great actress. i hope she will eventually have more success. i thought her career was getting ready to blow up after saved by the bell. she stayed working. now, we don't hear anything from her anymore, then this news come out. phillymom...i forgot all about her playing Mercedes on "In The House." I remember her being on Martin too. She was engaged to Martin as well. But he cut her loose, because she wouldn't GIVE IT UP! Smart girl! I mean he couldn't wait for the Honeymoon. She grew up a Jehovah's Witness and went to school w/one of Reebie's kids. That's how she hooked up with Reebie and her fam. Thunny...my brother still has a crush on her from back in the day. He refused to believe the story about her using drugs.

Comment: Saved by the bell was my show. Lark's character, Lisa, was my favorite. All you really knew about Lisa was that she was a BAP who was the crush of the nerdy guy (Screech). Anyhow, I wonder why she took almost a year to file a lawsuit. I'm thinking most top execs don't take the tabloids as truth so perhaps she just didn't get the jobs.
