Comment: I wasn't really an Idol fan this season, but I'm a Prince fan for life. A journalist friend forwarded me the email, and I was like, I bet Prince is gonna be on Idol tonight. . .I just had that feeling. I kept my television on mute until the end when he graced the stage. It was so funny how he did his thing, and just walked off. I haven't been to a Prince show in a few years, and the Vegas gig is gonna have me flying across the country!

Comment: karamelky..to answer your question, the Bible condems idolatry, maybe he was trying to make a point that others should follow that advise. I know it would seem somewhat contradictory or hypocritical since he has many fans who idolize him, but maybe he no longer want to be idolized or seen as a symbol to be worshipped, that is what the term "Idol" means.. it's not like he can go work at McDonalds an no one pay him any mind, he's a famous musician and this is how he pays his bills. It's his job. Plus it would only make sense to me that he make that comment beause I heard he was studying the bible, maybe he takes seriously what he is learning...

The AI execs were really sweating because Prince showed up 30 seconds before he went live, and immediately walked out during the crowd’s applause. Ryan Seacrest said that he was in the Kodak Theater for a total of 5 and a half minutes. That is classic Prince. He performed on his terms - no compromise. Excellent performance; Prince’s live performances NEVER disappoint!
