Comment: A 20 minute preview of a blockbuster musical star studded movie that is due to hit screens 7 months from now in December. Is the movie totally finished already? It's amazing the pace with which they finish these movies these days. How many months did they work on it? Seems like we just heard the news they were doing it not so long ago.

Comment: Priceless< you just made me think of something. I actually think that Kelly would have fit that role very well, and I enjoyed her acting on Girlfriends and back when she was on the Hughleys. Beyonce's acting is subpar to me. I hope the standing ovation for this movie was for whatever scene they saw instead of people just applauding b/c of the ensemble cast. And how many times is Beyonce goin to say this is the first role where I really act...she said the same thing about Fighting temptations and pink panther. No matter how small or one dimensional a part is, for someone to say they didnt 'act' in it just shows that they aren't an actor. That irked me.

Beyonce has more star power which equates to more pull in the money department. I'm sure they would have preferred Beyonce to starve herself down to the right size than take either one of those 2 Beyonce wannabes.

If he said, eat for continuity (which makes sense) then why would she chose to lose weight on her own? Either she has more influence than he does or they encouraged her to lose weight, either way somethin ain't right about that. I'm mad she compared Dreamgirls to Castaway LOL

Comment: Take as long as you want, this flick will be worth the wait. I have seen some of the previews. The film will get at least 2 (minor or major) Oscar Award's. Like a Poster said Diana Ross was skinny so it makes sense for B to follow suit. This will be the highest grossing all African-American film of all-time. This will also be Eddie Murphy's best role in decade's.

Comment: First of all let me say that Beyonce is my girl and I think that she is a beautiful young lady wwho is triple talented . But I must say that I think that she is telling a fib about not being forced to loose weight by the directors. I think that she wasforced to do so but she is still beautiful now ans well as before she sheded the 20 lbs. Trust me she will put it back on because she is naturally a big bonded girl and she is not skinny like her sister.

Comment: As someone who's seen Beyonce on four different occassions, 2 of which were pretty much w/in a 1ft range, she's NEVER been a "thick" girl. Michelle IS waif thin, Kelly is thin..and then there was Beyonce. Angel you're right, considering that Diana was rail thin back in the day, she'll be fine. Actually B is still bigger than what Diana was. Of all the pics EUR could've chosen from her time in Cannes..they chose that one. MER82 and Snicker, this movie doesn't thrill me either b/c I don't like to see things when I already know how they will end. However, I will probably still go see it b/c by December I will be starved for some blacks onscreen and at least the music will be good. I just hope that Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy don't overact like they tend to do sometimes.

Comment: OSUN..if she is doing well then that's a good thing for her and a rare one at that. I've only watched maybe three episodes of ANTM. IT was when Eve was on there. I actually don't watch much reality tv...Extreme Home, College Hill, and most recently Countdown to Lockdown is it for me. Other than that, nothing else captures my interest. Survivor, flavalove, BBB, etc...just not my thing.

Comment: OSUN - I thought Eva was the most visual of the ANTM alum. The only place I saw much of Toccara since the show was as......a plus size model and ......that Celebrity fitness challenge show. Hmmm, for someone so comfortable with their weight, why the need to be on a weight loss show? Musb is right. Unfortunately, Hollywood only leaves a few spots for anyone over a size 2 and typically those spots are left for folks that are loud and obnoxious that tend to play the "funny fat best friend". It's sad but true. I hope Jennifer makes it being the size she is, but the reality of Hollywood will probably either force her to lose weight, leave or hang around and fight for the few "funny fat best friend" roles that are turned down by the better known actresses. If she waits around long enough, then she may get cast as the "Big Black Mother Figure"....oh wait, Tyler Perry and Martin Lawrence have cornered the mkt there. LOL

Comment: i love beyonce but honestly the girl can't act her way out of a hefty bag. anyone who needs to constantly keep proving and saing how good they are at something are phony to me. her acting talent remains to be seen. i'm sure she'll do well, but i know a lot of more deserving and more talented ACTRESSES who could've done that role a lot more justice. whatever side she is, whatever. i'll just be glad when someone new comes along for everyone to talk about.
